Your Support Is Needed

The ‘Friends’ organization depends largely on the support of volunteers and the generosity of the public to attain their fund raising goals. Without our continued efforts there would be no additional funding from federal and state and local sources. We need your help! Your support will enable Friends of P.A.C. to continue to provide current avalanche information, offer community education, and purchase necessary equipment.

Happy new year from the Friends.  We have lots of projects that we are working on right now.  We are about to get our beacon basin set up in Legacy Park.  We are also looking for volunteers to offer beacon clinics periodically throughout the winter at the beacon basin.  We also need help with fund raising and outreach as well as general organization.  If you have the time to volunteer with a great organization,  drop us a line and let us know how you would like to help.

We would also like to thank everyone that attended our first Salmon River Brewery and Avalanche Center Social night in December.  We would especially like to thank the folks at SRB for their hospitality and all of the people that helped with the raffle, beacon races and donations.  THANKS WE REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT!
